Door card rattling, how to fix?!

Featured Replies

So seeing as im a teenage yob i like to play my music fairly loudly, the rattling wasnt bad at all when i bought the car but its not got to a point where some of the panels rattle just with normal driving and the stereo off... anyone have any tips on getting it to stop? thanks :)

I sorted my passenger door out at the weekend there with ice hockey stick tape. A sort of cloth tape

Took the door card off, <5min job, then checked for loose wires causing a rattle and fixed a squeak in the door pull by wedging it with a big of wood inside.

A bit aggrispec but worked rather well.

Have any of the clips broken that hold the door card to the door?

Dynamat is best imo

Designed to do just that. Search it on ebay for prices.

Works a treat.

Nice one thanks il do a bit of homework on fleabay then

Any rattles I had in my door cards were where the clips had cracked and the card was moving around. Worth getting the card off and replacing the clips.
