creaking and groaning-not me !

Featured Replies

Mine is a 2007 SE , 85k miles - just recently it started creaking and groaning at slow speeds especially on these cr*p roads that we have to use - as the bushes were all confirmed fine in Nov ( last service/mot) I am thinking it could be the aged standard suspension - thoughts anyone , cheers

Doesn't mean the bushes are not on their way out, has been a few months.....

Bushes....

Yup sounds like what I had and the bushes were knackered.

As an update - it wasn't the bushes that needed replacing - I discovered the car has cupra ones fitted and there are fine - the creaks/groans was the original suspension - I have now swapped it for AP coilovers and am impressed -

Just seen this and to add I would say its always going to be the suspension. I never had my bushes creaking - I am sure worn standard rubber bushes don't creak !

Mine has just started with it because I take a somewhat more country route to work rather than follow the rest of the plebs to standstill traffic, so I've started to notice it more.

Just as well I have uprated just begging to be fitted soon !

Be prepared for more creaks then...

Both Fabia's i've ran AP's on squeaked like hell!
