H,

Had new Fabia for a few days, 2013 model 1.2se, as I said on previous post a lot of road noise for a new car also a permanent low rubble from the rear of car, any thoughts or is this peculiar to this model.

Phoned dealer he's taking car for a test drive on Monday.

Welcome to the forum.

Did you check the tyre pressures and set your self after collecting the car, just to see how they set them.

& read the Owners Manual on running in.

Tyres, need the newness off them, brakes need a few miles to take the coating of the Discs & Drums, wear in the shoes Shoes/pads.

The Fabia 2 section would be good for experiences from others with the same car.

Hopefully it will be sorted out on Monday if there is any problem.

Maybe ask to be able to drive an identical car if there is one at the dealership,

just to compare.

Hiya,

Haven't got to dealer yet to much ice and snow!

I can also hear back drum brakes come on when I brake, maybe because they need running in longer!

Lovely smooth drive otherwise.

Always had Fords before the Skoda, never had a brand new car before either.

Saw dealer today, tried out the demo car, perfectly acceptable noise level in cabin compared to ours.

The demo has a different make of tyre to ours so dealer is going to swop them over next week to see if there is a dirrerence in noise levels.

Will keep you advised.
