Bolero updated for new Octavia. Sme for yeti?

The brochure for the Octavia III shows an updated version of Bolero with some interesting new features, including a clock :)

about time too, some will say.

other bits include the trip computer with all the usual info on one screen and pinch/swipe touchscreen.

Couldn't agree more as this style of radio must have been available before I took delivery of my 2013 model. If it is a software upgrade they should offer it as a flash upgrade like they do on mobile phones/computers etc. when an upgrade becomes available. Unless of course it is a non flashable chip in there some where. How can we find out?

I've found the amunsden+, a hell of an improvement on the bolero in my new yeti. The reading of the sd card is much faster and everything vaguely works :-)
