Cracking insurance, grommit

Featured Replies

If the insurance is this cheap on the vRS Mk1 I think I will stick around for quite a bit longer with the car.

Std car, £215 fully comp (was admiral, then got elephant quote, then passed back to Admiral again to match the quote and so I'm still on the same old policy lol).

Just shows it pays to phone about, well to get them to match whats on the comparison sites at least (new business). I was getting bounced about so much I was a fraction away from calling AXA though, almost makes you wonder if they actually value repeat business from non-claiming full NCB customers !

Try having a dd40 on your license and you'll find insurance not very fun

Bloody hell, I think I'd take a break from driving with that - doesn't look like fun at all...not always easy though if you have miles and miles to travel

Actually makes you think, probably a good idea to wind the speed in a bit - just cos you can doesn't mean you (always) should :giggle: Difficult with a car this good though isn't it !

whats a DD40??

Defiantly pays to phone around always get couple of hundred off my policy each year just by picking a number in my head about 200 less than what they offer me pretending thast what i have been offered, and say iv been with you x amount of years yet the other companys offering me this as a new customer??
