Getting Milotec Bits In The Uk

Featured Replies

Anyone know where I can get Milotec bits in the UK? I ordered a foot rest from Demon Tweeks, but it's far too wide (but the aluminium footplates are great). The plastic footrest in my car is looking a bit scuffed, and I know Milotec make one that matches the pedals in the vRS - hope they do one for RHD cars!

You realise because it is heavier than the plastic one it is going to make your car go just that teensy bit slower, of course?

My car is already very slow.

Anyone used Butts? Are they reliable?

EDIT: I'll re-phrase that. Has anyone bought any stuff from Butts?

Who Seymore Butts

Yep, I've had some sill plates from Butts - best to phone them up and speak to a 'real' person though

I sent Butts an e-mail asking for the price of a rear wing for an Estate as advertised on their site. No reply, so I phoned, and was asked what wing I was talking about. I eventually got some sense after telling the person I was talking to where they could find their own advertisment for the product. I never did find out who the manufacturer was, though.

I've also sent butts an e-mail - this time requesting info on bonnet struts and guess what ??

That's right...no reply

I'm sorry, but I just will not deal with companies that don't respond to requests - if they can't be bothered answering e-mails then they shouldn't offer the service.

Butt's probably won't be concerned on loosing a sale for bonnet lifters - but that lost sale has cost them at least

They will probably respond evennnnnnntualllllyyyyyy - but they are pretty cr@p on email response generally....

I think you'll find that the Audi TT ali. foot rest fits the RS, quite cheap AIR.

4X4 as well, Des?

Really? Hmmm... Do I need to source it from an Audi main dealer?

There should be loads of TTs round where you work with the roofs down in this weather... ;)

Ey, I'm not from Liverpool, y'know!

So - any ideas where I can get one of them? Legitimately?

See no good reason why an Audi dealer wouldn't order one in for you...or you could just go to the showroom where they have the roofs down and... ;)

I've had a look at the TT pedals, and surely the footrest is too wide for the Octy? There's not a whole lot of room between the clutch pedal and the footrest, and the plastic Octy footrest is very narrow.
