No worries. It looks like I might be heading down with some other people. As I was washing the car today, someone I know with another S1 came round to say that there's a few of his mates with all sort of cars going including a bubble arched Mk1 Cossie powered Escort. Looks like I might be in an eclectic convoy after all!

I'll keep an eye out for people while I'm there, although you'll probably not be with the cars anyway.

I'll be joining you all up their in the wife's Mk 2 VRS (Red with a Black Roof). Had a good early morning run with the Pistonheads group last year, but they don't seem to be doing t this year! :-( The VRS surprised a lot of people on the run :-)

I'll be turning up ! Pah and maybe my mate will be coming along. My cousin might be coming along with his Clio 172. He might bring some of his mates too. Sadly I have no Briskoda stickers for you guys to spot me. :(

I'm in the car park by the exit. They have the road coned off at present but just ask to be let through :)

Off to get breakfast and have a look at the Austin Healey we just went past :)

It was a good turn out again - maybe too many people this time.

I did see some Skodas but no owners nearby. As usual the bacon sandwiches were great and there were some amazing cars too. It's well worth the effort to see so many different types of motor in one place.

It's got a Cosworth engine, 4WD and over 350bhp, even the Mazda MPS is running over 330bhp at the moment! I was somewhat out gunned in terms of horsepower this morning.

Thought you'd be there with the 106's skinny man but didn't see one with a brisky sticker in lol

Went with my m8 in the mustang convertible, luckily I didn't know the guy with the deep red hard top as he crashed it into a tree when leaving!

Sent from my Galaxy S3, not a Crapple!

Seen the video the driver wasn't even going fast, pulled out to overtake a cop van and lost the back end on the gravel and stuff in the centre of the road.

Was chatting to the owner myself, he said he built it all himself and used the sierras floor pan and inner wings at the front. Was really good work, didn't realise that inner wings weren't standard till he mentioned it lol.

There was also a lovely series 1 e type jag coupe seriously sweet lol

Raf it never crossed my mind to put a Briskoda sticker in the 106!

As for the Mustang, I did see the convertible you were in but didn't hear it running. As for the crashed one, I had been looking at that only five mins before I left. In fact, just in front of me on the way out a Skyline did a rather dramatic exit in a cloud of smoke & opposite lock and I wondered if anyone would bin their car whilst showing off. Me? I set off rather sedately - how could I follow a drifting Skyline?

The Mk1 Escort tried to overtake me on the A64 as I was leading the convoy. I let him, the Evo and the MPS past just so as not to embarrass them....

Probably wasn't the speed he was doing, more the way he put the speed down, they surely aren't that unstable

Must have felt a right ****

Just hope they continue doing it, there were still a few toss pots spinning wheels on the way out even though the police were dealing with the mustang incident, only saw them stop one to tell him off. Just hope they don't stop it due to the minority of little boys lol

Would of been a lot easier to spot you skinnyman if you had a sticker in lol

True someone mentioned that he was still in first so that wouldn't of helped, plus the way the cop van was parked on the road without it's lights on, could of took him unawares. Apparently the police we're trying to do him for dangerous driving but a lot of people were sticking up for him and showing them the videos, plus some were blaming the police van for the way it was parked.

Bad thing was that it's apparently the only mustang in the UK that edition with the body kit
