Know any cheap rolling roads in Southampton or Coventry for power runs?

Featured Replies

Hey Guys, i'm looking to get my Fabia vRS on the rolling road. Just wondering if anyone knows a cheap place I can get a power run done to see what power i'm running.

I've looked at Regal autosport in Southampton which is £65 for power run, which I think is maybe too high (?) I want to be spending much less than that.

Any answers would be brilliant

Thanks Oli

R-tech in Hinckley prob can do it? And there's a place next door with a dyno too but can't remember the name.

a few weeks ago you could have run at JKM in Portsmouth for £35. One of the most accurate dynos around. There was a whole day of Skodas and VW's.

Thanks guys! I take it i probably wouldn't get a power run for less than £30?

nope! The runs at JKM were discounted as a 'group buy'. JKM normally charge around the 60 pound mark. Depending on your engine (ASZ or BLT) and unmapped, I'd say you're getting between 140 and 150Bhp, maybe a tad more if it's a BLT IIRC.

I'm not 100% sure R-Tech have their 'own' RR. DynoDaze is the place next door.

South coast (not exactly Southampton) but JKM every time. Otherwise SPTuning in Burbage (nr Hinckley) IIRC is £40 who also have DynoDynamics rollers which IMHO are one of the most consistent.

I've given JKM an email regarding getting a power run. Does anyone know if there are any power run days coming up at JKM?

Phone Kate at JKM she might be able to put you in touch with the next group who may be able to add you to their day
