My Monster found some snow and mud this weekend

Featured Replies

Had to be done. Found some snow to play in and later some mud too! He is now well dirty! (the pictures are pretty large, so clicking on them will show a lot more detail if you like mud!)

When I sprayed the windscreen I realised nothing is spraying the headlights. Had a look and everything out front was frozen (see above)!!! Oh to have some heated washer jets in the UK as the European Yetis get for a paltry £65 or so... So had to go out and pry some ice away from the nozzles. Didn't help much in terms of trying to clear the ice from the headlights with cold water though.

Back home yesterday. A dirty happy Yeti!

And this morning not much had melted - though the headlights were now clear! Was a cold night. So the Monster still looked pretty frozen! His MX-5 brother behind him was very jealous for not having been taken out to play with.

That Yeti is an example to SMs everywhere ;) !

That is absolutely filthy, top man

Bad parking though

Thanks Lee. And that used to be a disabled bay that had been removed and the lines had been painted over. So I'm parked correctly.

That's dirtier than mine!!

Mind you a couple of hundred yards of 9" deep flood water made quite a good effort of washing Dewi!

That must confuse the traffic wombles with half painted/marked bays :giggle:

Does need a good soaping - you'll be a busy beaver tackling that

Mud mud glorious mud an' all that...

Good job Johann :)

You should clean half of the car, to show just how dirty it really is. I used to find that my silver Fabia never really looked that dirty (ok it would if caked in cr*p like yours) until I started cleaning it, and then saw the difference.

Gave my Yeti a dousing of iron-x and tardis the other day - was surprised at how much came off the car. Though not as much as what came off the Scooby though.

Oh I have had it clean, clean before and put some Collinite 845 Insulator Wax on it. But that was in Nov 2011. Maybe I need to give him another shine like that! See this thread for a clean 900000 Monster:

(And yes last time I filled up the only pump free was the truck diesel pump. HUGE nozzle (so the click off does not work) and it pumps at a ferocious speed, so I made a mess with some flowing over and now clearly visible in the mud! )

You can be Fined in Russia for having a car as dirty as this..... :$$$: ..
