they will look much better, 13 will look like stadard i think, plus the price difference wouldnt be notisable as such and 15 much easier to find

Just looked at the pics-those wheels you have look small

the new ones?

I know I'll face howls of derision, but size isn't everything ;)

I'd probably go for 14s

girlracer-i was looking at the pic of your car on your homepage.

jon-how did i know you would come up with something like that. And why would you go for 14's?

13" alloys are easny enough to find for a felicia, same stud pattern etc as many rovers, golds, polos, vauxhalls etc etc etc.

Personally I hate the feel of 15's on a felicia, it affects the quality of ride and the feel of the braking. skoda done a decent range of wheels which would bevery cheap, Id be surprised if you couldnt pick up a complete set of OE alloys for

I've got 16" alloys on mine with 195/45 16 tyres and the ride and handling are just fine.

Have a look about for second hand SEAT/MK2 Golf wheels.

Thinking about it thats another option the stock felicia bohemia alloys were pretty nice.

I also have four orignal alloys from my pick up, they need repainting which is DIY'able but have good tyres, (13") will sell them cheapy cheap (PM for info)

I have 15inch Adikt Speedlines on mine with a 60mm drop, the ride is fine and so is the handling.

I hear the same thing about big wheels and dropped cars from lots of lads, I guess I may be a bit more fussy about handling than most as I used one of my felicias (on 13" rims) to out pace 300hp escort cosworths on tarmac rallies :) I couldnt have came close on 15" wheels, 15" wheels hold a lot more momentum than 13" wheels due to the extra weight further from the hub, this works against both acceleration and braking, as it requires more power to get it turning in the first place and more effort to slow it down as well. It also increases sprung weight considerable, leading to altering of the bump rebound, which gives less effective shock absorption. If you're going up wheel size you DO get a deterioration in ride and handling, even if its not enough to put you off the car, you need to do a fair bit of work to compensate for the changes with big wheels. A car designed for 18" wheels will ride far better on those wheels than a car designed for 15"s with the same wheels, because the manufacturer sets up the suspension right for the wheels etc.
