Hi all,

proud owner of my first!! octavia, collected from skoda

in Norwich on Friday morning. It's a petrol green lx sport with

bodykit and alloys, 1999 T with a genuine 14085 on the clock!!!

I believe the 1.6 engine is quite a low powered unit and the

lx model is basic in itself but it's a nice looking motor and the first

step to greater things. Any comments on this car and possible

mods that be done, I'd love to here from anybody.

Octavia is certainly a great car! - as for mod's there are a few things you can do,you say its got alloys & a bodykit already - so you could get some lowered springs - there is a post elsewhere on Briskoda.net about a poss group buy -- I could post the link,but it's good training for you to find it..

As far as performance goes your fairly limited - you could change the exhaust for a freer flowing one,and of course the airfilter,but I don't think you would see any benefit from a chip.

But hey who cares - you got your car,and you like it....so :drive: and Enjoy

Welcome m8, just dont get drwan into the colour arguements, thats the only advice I can give you.

Sorry but I cant give you any help on the modding front either, suffice to say there are plenty of threads/posts on the subject, just do a search and you will find gold.

check out the "My Performance" forum and look for the threads started by Hellraiser. He has just bought a 1.6 Ambiente and wanted to "tune it" a little. Everthing there will also be pertinent to you.
