Is it poss to swap the standard felicia 1.3 none rev counter one for with a rev counter? Is it just a case of swap over and plug and play?

No, they're not plug&play. The tachometer needs a feed signal from pin W of alternator.

thats only on diesels petrol ones take from ecu and i think they are plug and play you need the whole clocks tho but you can change speedo head over to keep mileage

Yes they are plug and play, the only thing you need to look out for is the airbag warning lamp, you can use an airbag cluster unit in car without airbags but the light will stay on constantly, so just pop the airbag bulb out before you put the cluster in if necessary.

I had to do the same with mine, but I made the mistake of getting one from a '00 felly and the dials worked backwards, got one from another '97 and all worked lovely.

Speedo was easy enough to swap with a couple screws

i for got to say what lee said the looms on face lift are diffrent to pre face lift i have a board from a pre face lift and face lift board and a rev counter if your up for a chalange in changing them all over if your intrested or so found that the 1.3 rev counter and 1.6 one fit only diffrence is that 1.3 says 10 and 1.6 says 1

Let it go backwards, in 2 years you'll have a new car, shiny paint, no rust, new engine, just a little possessed Christine style.

Not had a chance to fit it yet but it was from a prefacelift and mine also is a prefacelift, so happy days

the wiring is different in a diesel yes, so you need to find a cluster from a diesel model
