VRS in July?

According to this week's Auto Express the MkIII VRS is on sale in July.

"Likely to be a choice of 217bhp petrol and 181bhp diesel plus 6-speed manual or 7-speed DSG."

Has anyone seen any official news releases to confirm this?

More importantly, has there been anything officially released to suggest that the VRS will have different rear suspension from the standard MKIII? Or any other info on specs that anyone can point me towards eg links?

As for the suspension, it'll get teh multi-link that's for sure but anything else I haven't seen.

Bought a second-hand Skoda Fabia a short while back, as my first car after passing my test. While I'm normally fairly tech-savvy, I'm a bit new to cars and infotainment systems etc. I've found the service menu by holding down the [Menu] button and can see the software appears to be from April 2015. I tried the Skoda update website, but it says there is no update available for my VIN. I don't buy that for a second. that there isn't a newer version after 4 years, but have spent las

Hi everyone! I’ve been thinking about taking my TDI RS Octavia to a track day, but I know that the stock oil cooling is a critical weak point. My question is whether there is an OEM+ solution out there, like using a Crafter oil cooler, or if I should go with an external oil cooler instead. On top of that, how plug-and-play is an external oil cooler setup?

Good morning everyone, I need your help resolving an issue I can't seem to resolve, even with the help of Skoda customer service. I purchased a Superb Style, registered in Italy in 11/2024 (steering wheel with Skoda logo, not lettering), with the Lounge Design setup (the seats are electric except for the forward movement which is manual and does not have position memories). Hi again Hoping for some more good advice! Cam belt is at 40K ,5 years approx. I know there is a lot of controversy around timings of cam belt changes,and it seems the precautionary principle is the main view.Expensive principle but fair enough.I was having the belt changed because I could occasionally here a low rumble at tick over. Thinking tensioner pulley or something potentially very nasty. However,the rumble disappears when the clutch is pressed,and on my VW T4 I was told a new dual mass

Hi , hope someone can shed some light on a this . On an 2021 Octavia fault says. The regeneration frequency of Diesel Particulate Filter is not ok , says the fault is permanent . Car is due to go for software update , would this have something to do with it. Thanks
