Hi guys signed up las nite and thought I'd show my face. Who's the guru for fault finding and has anyone got a guide for upgrading door speakers?

Yeah typical power steering light and the engine management light came on las nite

Battery on the way out? EML could be generated by a voltage drop.

Not sure had a new battery about 18 months ago never had an issue with it not starting it starts first time every time if I do need to change battery wat would you recommend?

Also been looking at fault code readers any you would suggest to buy?

I would suggest getting a friendly local Briskoda Member to scan your car with VCDS to see what fault codes are being generated.

I personally wouldn't for out for a fault code scanner to diagnose a problem, but then again I have VCDS

There is a 'sticky' thread showing owners of VCDS (inc. map, but not all are on the map). You should be able to find someone near you.

If not, I'm in Worcester on Monday afternoons / early evenings are the Easter holidays if that any good to you.
