Fabia vrs clutch required

Featured Replies

Wheres the best place to buy a new clutch for ma 2004 Fabia vrs

Not long bought it and not sure if it's been remapped but it has alot of torque

If it runs out of puff after the initial torque spike then it'll be standard more than likely.

Euro car parts? Motorserv? GSF car parts? Skoda dealer? TPS?

Iv got a standard clutch & flywheel as i upgraded..

I'd go down the single mass conversion kit. Dual mass is simply a bottomless money pit as they are such a crap clutch. At least with a single mass conversion you only have to change the clutch which isn't as much as changing the flywheel and clutch on a dual mass.

How much are you looking to get for them? Cheers

(If the car is standard) I disagree. There are many cars on 100k+ with the original clutch and DMF. If you replace it like for like and it lasts another ~80k, it is likely to out live the car. Therefore the argument for a single mass is invalid, as you wont be replacing the flywheel again anyway.

Single mass id only advise on a hybrid / bigger turbo car!

On a relatively stock / remapped car id go for a sachs race engineering one and a new dual mass flywheel

Il look into what sorta price they are foing for and il let ya know

Will this have a really high biteing point to? Is there any way of adjusting the peddle to a better biteing point? Cheers

Dont go smf.

Ive just had mine replaced now and its nice and bites better and feel is better straight away but the dual friction kit and smf I have

Judders from a standing start.

Rattles like **** unless pedal is pressed.

Dmf I so wish ide gone.

Cheapest I've seen for Sachs.

Don't forget a new release bearing too :)

Thats a standard clutch not an uprated one just to make people aware

For big power drivers car - smf

For remapped daily driver car - dmf

Anyone got a link to a good uprated clutch and DMF for a remapped daily driver?

I was looking at that ebay kit good price really

What about the Valeo smf kit? Everyone who has it says it doesn't chatter.
