Castrol make quantum.

Confirmed by my man in TPS. He was at an oil meeting and there was a Castrol man there doing the presentation.

Mobil 1 0W40 New life best imo, has built in cleaning agents and quick to reach engine components as it's the thinnest oil you can get when cold. Started using it since having the blocked up strainer pipe and will continue to use it now. Always used it on my previous cars with no problems.

I used the recommended Quantum stuff on my Skoda at the last service and I don`t think its upto the job to be honest, cheap and cheerful but not the best... I would go as far as blaming cheap oil changes for the blocked strainer pipe(you get what you pay for).

Just puts 5L in and hopes for the best but it's the oil itself that causes all the problems so it's ok
