Pic request black Fabia vrs with standard wheels done black or anthracite

Featured Replies

As title really considering doing my wheels black as they are all bubbling on the sides of the spokes. I want some new wheels really but struggling to find some cheap that I like. Thinking black as it will hide the bubbling more won't it? Cheers

if you sand all them / shot blast them properly then prime and paint ..... or get the m done proffesionally you can make them look amazing and wont see bubbling .....

anthracite .....

The only problem with that is its my work car so can't have the wheels off it for a few days to be blasted etc and for the money I'd spend doing it I want new wheels anyway so would rather spend the money on them. Just thinking black to cover it up until I find some wheels I like. Do like the anthracite colour

do them your self one at a time and use your spare in the process

50 quid will buy all the stuff you need to do them yourself. that wont go far on buying new wheels

I've got everything to do the wheels myself apart from paint but it won't be £50 to get them blasted etc that's what I was getting at. Sure it's £200 for them all doing

I got my alloys sandblasted then powdercoated all 4 for £150

I know someone who will powder coat for £25 a wheel. Blasting I think is £10 a wheel. Mine were done in a day! :)

Looks well smart I like

Some alloy wheel companies do finance, got myself a set worth £690, on finance from rimstyle. Paid a 10% deposit, and only £56 a month for 12 months. Which might be another way you could get some new wheels?

Is that on coilovers or springs? Looks ******* epic!

What size spacers front/rear mate?

Thanks guys.

The wheels were from a member on here craig8585, highly recommended.

The car's on AP coilovers, no spacers.

Good advise, my mate just got some rota grid drifts from them with Michelin ps3 at a very good price on finance.

Daaaymm looks camberd!

Yeh from memory it was taken using a wide angle lens on my iPhone, hence the slight distortion!

A few of mine when I had standard wheels, they were sprayed using metallic Peugeot Steel Grey:

no spacers! 195/45/16s, much better suited to the OEM 16s IMO. My 205s always looked flat.
