Can you fit alloys inside?

Featured Replies

My second post of today…

Basically I've missed the delivery of my wheels, but have to pick them up tonight.

Sooooo, can you fit 4 alloy wheels with tyres inside boxes into the back of a mk1 fabia?

Hopefully a mate should be helping me, but just in case

yeah drop the rear seats and they'll go in no problem.

I've done in many a time for transporting or trackdays

if you really try you could get a dozen in there ;)

Great stuff! :) worse comes to the worst, I shall have to take them out of the boxes... Well hopefully they would fit as there larger than std and staggered

Even if the rims are larger they'll have thinner tyres on so should be the same radius (keeping the speedo calibration the same etc)

If they are wider too then that shouldn't really prove a problem.

there really is plenty of room in the bak with the seats down (or out)

As said, easy peasy.

I've had 8 in the back of mine when doing a bit of a swap around.

I travelled with x4 17" alloys with tyres in the back of mine from the Lake District to the West Mids.
