Featured Replies

Although i only recently purchased this the Octy is going so im going to revert her back to standard.

Bolero head unit, perfect working order and looks fresh out the box. I will actually miss this, the sound quality is brilliant!

Colour screen, touch screen, SD card reader (the main reason i bought it) although i dont know the actualy wattage output it sounds a damn sight better the stream, integrated 6-CD changer, can be wired up to bluetooth for phone and also work with a multi-function steering wheel.

are you selling up?

what are you getting to replace it?

Putting the money from the car sale to one side for a while, getting a new car on PCP for pennies per month then buy something completely impractical in about a years or so time :)

Can also comment on how great the bolero is, sound quality is totally different to the stream units.

Very cheap upgrade that totally transforms the dash

Is precoded to my car so im not sure if it would work with your (ill ask Eddie) but it can be recoded over.

I paid £75 so would except £60 excluding postage

I am looking to replace my standard skoda octavia radio cd. I have a couple of issues I need to sort out with its replacement I have a nokia ckw7 (i think) that connects (using bluetooth) with my phone. Will this unit connect with my phone or does it need the nokia kit. I don,t need or even want to play CDs, or DVDs. Probably will not even use the SD card facility. I have five gigs of music on my computer, none of it on phone, or ipod, or ipad. I,m just looking for a replacement for the most boring radio in the world. SatNAV would be nice but with the price of the columbus thats way off my pay scale. Aftermarkets units here all concentrate on the DVD / TV element and the basic model radios with built in bluetooth (only bad reports about that) sell for abut 200 euro. I would prefer if I can have the skoda unit, though, but not if my phone won,t work with it properly. Is the canbus issue an issue for my car 2005 TDI, DSG. Will the air conditioning temperature etc still show up on this unit. I,ve seen videos of this unit with the phone book, etc all being used via the radio unit, again will this work on my car with this unit.

The other issue I have, is that I would prefer to buy from a briskoda member, as it seems the internet dealers are extremely dodgy, and high street retailers do not seem to know anything about skodas.

Thanks in advance.
