I use Carole Nash for bike and car insurance.

They have been pretty good with me on the car side of life and have always come back with a competitive quote. They where cheaper than all "specialist" insurance companies on the Impreza and insured it without problem when I refused to renew my tracker subscription.

They are worth a try as they are used to wrangling with the insurance companies whilst sorting out bike insurance for youngster's :)

Insured my lightly modded Scooby with Tesco and paid less than 1600 quid a year. That was with 1 years NCB, garaged, top-spec alarm, tracker, etc. Went down to 1200 quid with 2 years NCB :D

Cheers for all the answers and guidance on this, we are going to Benfield Skoda Newcastle tonight to have a look at the 5 or so VRS Octavia they have in stock at the moment.

One seems to be a contender, Red 02 or 53 (sales couldn't remember) 18 inch five spokes, 12,000 miles

try greenlight insurance and adrian flux they seem pretty good.

admiral are ok, but they have a standard parts clause, so if you modify your car they will only replace with standard parts!

:eek: thats dam good...he must have NCB from the age of 17 or is named driver on his parents/freinds policy...

Oh and was it a standard octy or remapped? you wil be smiling even more if you go out in a remapped one :D

its was a standard octavia vRS 4yrs NCB as far as i know and he is the named driver.

hes getting it remapped and a K04 turbo fitted for 270BHP :thumbup:
