..but no, my conscience just wouldn't let me do it.

I'd have regretted it the second i handed the documents over, I know, 'cus that's exactly what happened with my first one, hence the current one that I've had for just coming up to 7 years now

Too much history and great memories of all the fun and enjoyment I've had now, so sorry Alan.

It may only be a heap of metal etc, but after young Ree spent 4 hours cleaning and polishing it last weekend I (sadly) realised....it's part of the family.

Do I need physcolgical therapy?

I'm a great WUSS, ok ok ok, but i do luv it, and it looks as clean tidy and shiny as the day i bought it from a member down in Birminham.

Wish i could remember his user name in here so i could show him that i DID look after it as requested.

Yea. I'm going to keep that phrase locked in my mind now. Excellent.

I love Fabias so much that we have Five in our family - see yesterday's post.

Get something better and you will soon get over it :)

Good on you MR Ree, if it makes you happy keep it, (i wish i kept my first vrs, still gutted now:( but after another 5 vag cars im back to a fabia vrs, not as nice as the first but its getting there ;)

swmbo's vrs going shortly after 10 years, one of the first 53 reg ones

to be replaced with a citigo greentech in about 10 weeks time

been good fun in that time, but there always comes a time it has to go to pastures new

never look back mr Ree, there is always another one round the corner just as good.

My first car was my parents Mk3 Astra 1.4 Merit, so as bog standard as you can go. It had badly faded red paint, high miles, wasn't serviced often, drunk fuel like a V6 and I kept it for a year. Since, I've had a Polo and two Fabia's which are all better than the Astra but I still miss it.

I miss my ibiza cupra r but wudnt part with the fabia as its the best off both worlds rapid and great on fuel when drove steady ;)
