I am pretty sure the petrol vrs is done via the obd. I have not had one that is not yet. Be it an Audi, Skoda or VW.

The CR diesel is encrypted for sure. But we have the tools for that too for solder free remaps

I thought all vag group were encrypted after 2010 my R36 certainly is

Petrol is done through ODB.

My 2011MY 1.8TSI has an encrypted ECU, as confirmed on a visit to Shark.

Petrol VRS TSI is done via the diagnostic port, without removing the ECU.
