Yeti Configurator

Featured Replies

Now then, I know I can be a little dim when dealing with that ere new technology type stuff, but when using the Yeti configurator thingy on the Skoda UK website the only model I can choose is the S. Am I being particularly fick or have others had this strange occurrence?

I'm pretty sure when trying previously I was able to 'upspec' to any of the available model options. I've tried a number of times over the last few days and always get the same result.

Please be gentle with me if I've made an elementary mistake

It's not just you, just tried it and only had the option to spec an 'E'. I think the configuratormajig is having a hissy fit,,,,,,,,and not for the first time :wonder:

If you use this page, and hover your mouse over yeti it will let you select the spec.

Hi Marie, yep, this does get you there and thanks for the link. It is a rather convoluted way of getting there though, it used to be a lot easier and I rather suspect there's a bit of a problem with the easier way! :|

Skoda UK updated their site a bit and it now sometimes sends you off into the configurator on the base model only.

On some models, not sure about Yeti, the configurator is hosted on the Skoda auto dot com site and they have not set the links up correctly.

So you have to go in as Marie said and hover over the model to get the right spec level.

Never made head nor tail of it especially when you add options and defeats me every time.

What muppets designed it!!!

Tried it again and when you add ICE options it forces you to add other items needed to be compatible

but when you do it deletes the option you are trying to add. Or am I loosing the plot??? Catch 22.

It's been offline since late last night.

Think they are making a few changes.

And still offline - incredible!

It's working for me at the moment. Some new options have appeared - there's a satnave with DAB option fer instance.

All I get is 'access denied', they really should sort out this shambles of a site as it could put potential customers off.

Works fine for me.

I'm getting access denied too.

For anyone who it works for, can you post a link to the page where it works?

Just got this:

Car Configurator unavailable

?The Car Configurator is currently unavailable. The Car Configurator is currently undergoing essential maintenance work and will be back up and running soon.

In the meantime why not request a test drive or request a brochure so that you can start to visualise your perfect ŠKODA. Better still why not pop down to your local retailer who will be able to show you around the full range of models.

Been trying for days, just tried still being worked on! That's over a week I think.

Just been playing on it, http://cc.skoda-auto.com/gbr/pages/step1.aspx , 110 elegance with heated windscreen and elecy drivers seat looks good to me, and is cheaper than the SE with options, how can I persuade SWMBO :punch:. O well next year hopefully ;)

I hope they make a better job of it as the past year or so has been a real pain.

Don't they ever test it out before issuing a fix?

Would not be confident of placing an order based on this useless 'Confuselator'.

Needs to be sorted so you don't have to go through a convoluted loop to add options, only to be told

you have to add others which if you select then deletes the original requested option. Nightmare!!

The language used is also from a chinese to english translation which adds further confusion.

Come on Skoda get a grip!!!

The above link works for me, but its not the one they had before.

All works now, but concerned you can't spec the L&K in the same way I've ordered mine, also really annoyed you can now spec the electric seat which my elegance had. Will see if I can add to my order, but I think mine might have been built

The link from the skoda.co.uk site doesn't work for me. It wanted Microsoft SilverLight installed - why does skoda force Microsoft on people? Running Linux this is not good for me. I tried installing a version of SilverLight for Linux but that didn't work. Switching to a Windows laptop SilverLight installed ok but I still had an error saying the configurator was unavailable.

I then tried the link given above. That still works however it wouldn't let me add the electric seats to the Elegance spec. I wonder if that is a consequence of offering electric seats on the L&K. I also noticed that the SE Plus model is no longer listed. So to get the 170 CR engine you have to go with at least the Elegance spec...

Use the 2D configurator and it works on Linux.

Or it did this morning.

There was no 2D option this morning for me. Now the configurator is unavailable again!
