Norwich union (cant recall their new name of the last ten tears or so) just told me the £300 excess rises to £500 if I don't accept their approved repairer. ie. non Skoda.

Declined their quote.

U paid insurance so that if worse happens u protected and looked after.

I can understand if we pay peanuts.

But some of us pay £1000s in premium - grrrrr!

Else their approved bodyshop was Ford - eeeek!

To maintain your paint and corrosion warranty you must use a Skoda approved bodyshop.

Could you recover any loss of warranty where they use a non approved bodyshop?
