Youve got an underlying issue with something else, this wont fix it...

I've done abit off reading could be this or my secondary air pump

No point in changing it to anything other than a new stock one really mate.

Im also interested in this as i have a similar fault

I thought the ecs were better than stock ?

I have the ECS race valve and it completely fixed my hesitation, but i had a remap. These work well on some remapped cars. They tend to cause boost spiking on std cars and some mapped cars.

I would not suggest you fit a race N75 valve on a std mapped car as mentioned you must have a underlying issue that needs fixing that perhaps a std N75 may cure.

Race N75 Frequency Valve

Volkswagen Golf IV 1.8T

The absolute quickest & most inexpensive way of getting more HP out of your turbocharged VAG product

The N75 is the VW/Audi part identification number for the wastegate by-pass regulator valve. This valve is responsible for controlling the movement of the pneumatic actuator which drives the wastegate. The wastegate is an internal valve in the turbo-charger which controls the amount of exhaust gas that flows over the turbo impeller generating boost.

Under normal operating conditions the engine's ECU sends signals to the N75 valve asking it to open or close, which adds or reduces pressure on the wastegate actuator. This results in more or less boost. The ECS RACE N75 valve modifies the normal operating parameters of the original N75 valve by delaying the speed at which these ECU signals are interpreted. The result is a higher initial peak boost and an elevated boost curve which tapers back to stock/chipped levels over the engines rev range.

Average boost gains are 1-3psi over the rev band.

Or buy here from Awesome UK.
