Piper vs Milltek - NOISE

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a Piper exhaust at present (full turbo back, single silencer), and while it sounds awesome, (especially as the Hybrid is on full boost!) i think i'm getting to old, and was wondering if the Miltek is actually quieter, as i think i've read before? anyone actually heard/owned both?

Might be looking for a swap depending on what people have.

Thanks! :)

Where u from bud?

I have a standard cat back already in my garage in very good condition thanks! I'm looking for helpful replies about any difference in sound between the two?

I'm running a Milltek catback system and it's barely any louder than the stock system tbh, a little louder on boost but that's it.

Ahh whys noone near edinburgh :( iv no boxes on mine.. straight through sounds unlike anything else some like it some dont. Im looking for a system but all too expensive :(

I have a Milltec de-cat system with one silencer and a Darkside downpipe, It's louder obviously as the turbo is running over 2 bar boost, but I don't find it intrusive or annoying.

It sounds like it might suit me a bit better then as i do a lot of work miles, so would like it on the quiet side now. I'll post up in for sale section.

Thanks,

Mike
