Mk1 Skoda Octavia vRS.

Options:

Reverse sensors

Cruise control

Black Met paint

I purchased her from Lightcliff Skoda on st Andrews road in Huddersfield.

She was a joy to own.

Till 2007 she remained standard when I then changed wheels to mk5 R32 reps and had the car remapped. I then joined the forum and it was a long up hill climb to no money but an awesome car in both handling and power.

after being unable to get the car overhauled to as close to new as pos for my wedding earlier in the year I decided to break her.

She was my baby and I really have missed driving her around for the sound and smells.

Emotional is not the word, I am so gutted. Only owner from new and never bumped, raced or ragged.

That must been a very very sad moment for you, it was a stunning car, maybe in the future who knows.

Cheers guys.

Got a few beers and am sat watching tv and playing games.

It was hard but tge car was too modified to sell as a whole.

Yea mate all body pannels were tip top. Needed a clean as she has been sat out there for well over a year.

Cheers tho guys. Gutted I never got to drive her with the hybrid and kwv3s.

Oh well on to bigger things. Dout it will be better. Dont think ill ever buy a brand new car again neither. Got too attached to that one.

Such a sad ending to a beautiful car.... =(

Too bad the Atlantic Ocean is in the way, I also could have used most of what you scrapped to make my Octy a post FL...

Mate.......... !!!

Just .... Mate !!!

What did u do :(

I'll give you a hug tomoro

Or a slap :D

Or a hug then a slap

Or a slap then a hug

Or maybe i'll hug you, then slap you, then hug you so friends again

Or i'll pinch your v3s for being naughty :D

Serious tho bud ...... Feel for you

I shed a tear when my golf finally drove of down the road :(

tragic, v sad to think it is not worth a lot as a standard car. I'm sure many members would have loved to own a car in that condition

ouch... pix speak volume

hopefully you've got something forward to look to

Dude sad day......

That was a mint car........

:( Shame to see it gone.

I'll enjoy your hybrid. Eventually when I get the engine back together.

Cheers fellas, yea really missing her now, while she was out there there was always that small possibility she would be back up and running but now its not happening at all.

Rob I sure hope you do mate, diff and this and OMG it will be a beast lol

Lovely motor, sad ending.

If i could've gotten to you i wouldve taken the bonnet and Tail gate...

and the interior... and the wheels...

and the doors...

suspension....

Screw it, everything!

but i know why you couldnt sell it as was,

not just the cost, the thoughts of someone else tinkering with your baby,

undoing what you had done... or worse involving a hedge...

Feel for you Billy

SURE I REMEMBER SEEING THIS ON THE M621??? maybe 2 years ago now ???

Dude sad day......

That was a mint car........

I do have to ask actually, did you have those plastic shoe covers to give to people getting into the car? and disposable overalls to wear, to keep it so clean?!

and, how often did you wash, wax and polish? right up to being lowered onto the truck, the paint work was still immaculate..

SURE I REMEMBER SEEING THIS ON THE M621??? maybe 2 years ago now ???

Could of been him, he comes back home when he's sick of the sheep in Wales lol

Very sad :(

What a beautiful car it was.

I have just done in January the same with my V70 T5 - after 273k miles and an engine failure it was the END. It was like saying goodbye to a faithful friend - Things move on through, hence the new (to me) vrs.
