Good afternoon - my first post and a Skoda owner for the first time, having completed a 360 mile round trip yesterday to collect my 2012 Octavia VRS DSG TDI.

Having been a company car driver for the past 10 years, I've now been forced into purchasing my own vehicle and after a fair amount of research (and having loved a Golf GT TDI that I had a few years ago) decided upon a diesel Octavia VRS, test drove a manual and a DSG and decided to go for the DSG, left a deposit last week and spent every day since wondering if I'd made the right gearbox decision, having always driven manual cars!

I needn't have worried! Dropped off my hire Mondeo at the Skoda dealership yesterday, jumped in the Octavia and grinned all the way home! Absolutely love it!!!
