Can't get aerial off just screwing out so much then spinning but can be adjusted down the way,i

to want change it for a bee sting aerial

They're security aerials. I believe you just have to pull hard.

Just a good hard pull then I hope not too hard lol

Unscrew and when the antenna becomes loose pull very hard, you need to overcome the anti-theft security barb so imagine how much strength you need.

I will end up pulling it out of the roof lol.Is this what everybody has done to replace the aerial?

Just did mine and nearly poked my eye out!

Yep pull harder! I couldn't get mine off at all. Tried a different approach, rather than pulling unscrew it then like jerk it quickly, should come free that way.

I did it by unscrewing, laying it flat and then pulling HARD! I mean like I went Hulk on that thing!

Well, I pulled and pulled at mine in the petrol station. Eventually I got taken away by the police. Apparently that sort of behavior is "unacceptable." Government red tape......
