Hi Guys,

Just want to introduce into this forum! - I've had my Superb for 3 years now, and gave it to my dad in late January when i got a stonking deal on a Merc E250 CDI AMG Sport Estate...

... dad quickly fell out of love with the Superb....

He wanted something higher, easier to get into etc - so we approached our Dealer, and asked for a 170 TDi L&K Yeti, in SIlver with Spare wheel - Strangely, there was one on the Docks!

It we took delivery in just over a week - ha!

So here she is

To be honest, I'm not keen on the glass roof; bit of a waste of space and let's too much light in. I'm a black dash, seats, roof lining and tinted windows kinda guy.. But apart from that, it's nice and dad likes it!

My superb has gone to my dad-in law now..!

I would love to see some pics of interior and of the sunroof when/if you can manage them.

What else do you do with the roof? Never been a fan of 'privacy glass' or interior darkness myself: if I didn't want anyone to see what I was doing, I shouldn't be doing it!

Would be nice to see a picture of it in the sun, preferably where you can see the fancy wheels.

That;s a bit better - the thumbnails are bigger, so we get the idea, but I can't open them properly (takes me to a Yahoo log-in page).

Would still love to see the full size versions of these as I've only ever seen the brochure pics of a steel grey one.

I can't view them either, even when logged into Yahoo.

Does it have conventional (rubber) foot pedals? I thought the L&K came with the snazzy aluminium pedals.

Can't help but notice that the leather on the driver's seat is sagging/crumpled already............after a few days??????

That is why I prefer cloth or Alcantara.

Great looking car, all the more keen to get mine now.

Share Truthseeker's concerns about the seat though. Noticed just about every 2nd hand Yeti Elegance has saggy/crumpled leather on the seat base, making the interior it look much older than it is. I would probably pick a nice cloth seat before leather, but unfortunately you don't get that option on a L&K.

Cheapo leather I assume, but having said that I have seen the same on Audi/VW/BMW's etc. Unfortunately, that is the nature of a natural product.

VW have cunningly offered "leather look" seats on their "Up" model. Looks like leather (no smell though), but does not crumple - at least I hope not as we have it in our one.

Does look good though with white piping, and everyone who sees it thinks it is leather - glad it comes as standard with heated seats.

I am old enough to remember when most cars came as standard with plastic seats and you paid extra for cloth - now you pay extra for plastic.

Unfortunately another Skoda UK anomaly, yes UK gets rubber pedals, everyone else appears to get alloy pedals on their L&k's

I think we'll have to accept that the leather seats will quickly have that 'lived in' look :(
