Hi all

For sale is my Fabia Vrs SE registered in 2007 and in excellent condition inside and out as can be seen on photos.

Full service history (some dealer/some local garage) New cam belt and water pump less than a month old and major service done together by skoda sheffield at a cost of £700.

Current mileage at 76,000. Car has no mods so body and engine as standard for the se model 130bhp 1.9tdi metallic blue etc.

4 tyres were put on about 6 months ago and havent been raced so have plenty of life left.

MOT until dec 2013 tax until Nov 2013.

This car has been well looked after and maintained and hopefully will go to a good home. Never missed a beat and runs like a dream averaging 65 mpg and 70 mpg on warmer days.

I am happy to take anyone interested out on a run to assess the car for themselves.

Tel:07912282254

Thanks for looking.

£5450

Feel free to ask any further questions.

Josh

True, but they were all built early in 2007 and there are only a few that were not registered some time in 2007.

On cars I've seen, other than two 57 plates, one 58 and one 09 they've all been 07 plates.

Just for info. :)

Where are you located? What tyres did you fit? Any signs of wear on the leather?

Thanks,

Dan

Tyres are called infinity nothing fancy as I didn't have much cash at the time:( and the leather is pretty much perfect on all seats just the usual wear on the drivers but no rips or thinning. I'm located in sheffield mate.

Anyone know what the markets like at the moment as i'm getting no interest on this which seems very strange considering they're supposed to be a popular car:S

I think the bottom line is you're selling a niche car which only really attracts the enthusiast at a price which would seem excessive to the average motorist. You either drop the price to attract somebody who doesn't really get the 'se' thing or you have to wait until the right buyer comes along.

One went recently at dealer near me for £5999 (stickered at £6250). Similar condition, FSSH, better tyres and a shade under 80k. The SE is a nice package but when it comes down to it, it's just options.

Hint: If you try and sell it elsewhere, list all the equipment/options separately as SE won't mean anything outside these forums.

I was looking for one two weeks ago.

The prices on ebay were just plain daft. £7k+ for a car that only cost 12.5k six years ago!

A lot that are sold are advertised for too much money, they base the price on crazy dealer prices.

I looked at this, or the one I bought.

But the latter was under 60k miles and we agreed a price less than 6.5k.

The last one of these I had was a very rare 09 plate with 20k miles on the clock and I only gave £8k for that. Two years ago!

  • 2 weeks later...

Hi Josh

If you do come down on price I think it would start turning my head, just missed out on a 66k one for under 6k.

So back on the look out at the right price

All the best

Scott

Hey Scott

I'd be happy to take any sensible offer on the car into consideration

Thanks for your interest

Josh
