Selling a Skoda Fabia Comfort 1.4

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I have a Skoda Fabia (1.4 Petrol "Comfort 68EST) estate car. Y Reg and about 80k miles.

I am looking to sell it and wondering where would be best to do that considering...

  • It has nearly a years MOT, although it had a couple of advisories including oil leak and new tyre needed.
  • It has the Engine Management light on and I have been unable to diagnose why.
  • It is missing a spare wheel
  • The front passenger electric window is broken (Glass is fine but it wont go up or down)
  • It has a fair amount of mold stains on the rear seats where it was left undriven for a while.
  • Bodywork is in Fair condition for its age

Was offered £150 scrap for it but wondered if you think I would be better putting it on Ebay or something else I have not thought of. Seems a shame to scrap it when it has a years MOT on it and even with the Engine Management light it runs about ok.

Thanks.

Firstly, have you had it scanned with VCDS to try and find what's causing the light to be on?

Gumtree. It's free and you'll get something for it.
