I'm of the mind you should have taken a deep breath - swallowed some of your anger, and taken the car as you were happy enough with the deal. You could have then told the dealer they would never see

  • Slightly off-topic, but to illustrate the point being made. Some years ago, my father died after suffering dementia for a number of years. I am an only child, living 350 miles away and so had to rely

  • I tend to disagree personally, but as with most things in forums one can't tend to change others' opinions. Suffice to say though I've popped into dealers and been told, "we'll give you a ring later,"

All the best. I hope your FL2 is more reliable than my (very early production model) FL1 was. Sure it will be!

Good luck with the FL2. My FL1 was a nightmare and used to eat fuel pumps - it devoured three - sadly all at critical times in our lives when a reliable car was essential.

I wonder if you'd all be so forgiving if I changed my order to another nissan juke :giggle:

My mam and dad are onto their third new Freelander.

Nice machine, but Satvav is no user friendly, and why no center armrest?!?

That would be truly beyond the pale. You'd have to go on some kind of Register, and be restricted to some sort of Nissan forum.

Been there.....done that :giggle:

My qashqai is ordered and due in 4 weeks.....I await the abuse for my last 4 weeks as a Yeti owner.

Abuse? Oh, no, surely not...

I think we'd be interested to know your reasons, though :notme:

I had a qashqai before the juke, had no issues with it at all so hope you enjoy yours

In my history you'll see I've had issues with dependability..ie engine going into limp mode on at least six occasions. I have had issues with VAG cars in the past after warranty expires. Golf ESP light came on and I was quoted £ 1300 for repair six months out of warranty.Much hassle and argument got bill down to £ 120.

So I now keep a car only until warranty runs out .

I personally like the Yeti apart from those issues above .SWMBO has no faith in it at all and also complains of water falling onto the passenger seat when the door is opened after rain. I also live near to Sunderland and was persuaded to assist the local economy by a friend who has kindly offered me the friends and family discount that Nissan workers are entitled to. Great trade in on Yeti at 75%of original price plus £2500 off the qashqai makes it a no brainer.

OK, I quite understand. TBH, if last year I could have had a replacement X-Trail, auto, that could handle the caravan I might well still be driving a Nissan myself. The latest version can't hack it so I had to find an alternative. The rest is history, I'm very happy to say! Good luck with the Qashqai!

Certainly not, no one who puts a Nisssan Juke in front of a Yeti is sane, and we would also miss you terribly

Forgiving, well of course, everyone has there own opinion even if they are wrong :giggle: Your banter would be missed though and Bob would miss you in the corner.

I havent been in the corner since last weekend, I've been behaving

You should try harder to keep Bob company and restock with a few bottles.

Oh its only a matter of time, don't worry :giggle:

Cheers Dinski ... enjoy the new motor. Wave at any of us Yeti folk you see - we'll know it's you 'cos no other ****** in a Freelander will be taking any notice of us

We'd humour you, say 'there, there', and wait for the men in white coats to come and collect you. :giggle:

Your welcome bob, and thanks for the entertainment.

I will make a point of giving all the yetis a wave.
