I really liked the yellow, and so did my lady friend! (you could argue that she liked it a hell of a lot more than me)

It really is down to the Yellow/Black colour thing before i order for Sept

Things point me towards the Yellow, then i talk to people at work and they put me off getting the yellow due to the loss in resale price if i ever decide to sell... ("You'll drive a yellow turbod charged banana bus..." e.t.c.)

MY argument is that i won't lose

If you are thinking of resale you cant beat black. Its known to hold its price better than any other colour.

However black does show the dirt - especially on the bum. after 2 days it is dirty again.

Yellow is quite vibrant - but each to their own.

As long as you are 1) happy with dirty car or 2) have plenty of time for cleaning go for black is my advice

Defo black shows dirt and the Furby seems to slam it onto the back like there's no tomorrow

I bought my yellow Octy to go with my yellow shoes (really), I never get tired of seeing kids hit each other as I drive down the road and they are playing 'Yellow Car'

Like i said on the day, yellow over black anyday for the Fabia, i personally dont think the black stands out enough to do the car justice.

Just to throw some coal on the fire, I don't really like the yellow too much. I think it looks best in red. My reasons for this are three fold,

Red is a very sporty colour,

The red of the fabia VRS is a sexy red,

Red makes it go way faster.

The only yellow car I like in this kinda range of car is the punto sporting or hgt. This is because it is an amazing yellow, its really deep, not the custard yellow of the saxo and the pale not vibrant sporty enough yellow of the VRS.

Sorry, just giving you my opinion. Also the VRS's that I have seen have mainly been in black. Red stands out enough.

I have to disagree, after owning two red cars I will never do it again. For some reason red paint loves to fade and mostly on the bonnet due to the heat. The black Furby looks stunning when just cleaned, only the silver is anywhere near as nice.

I like silver cus it don't show up dirt and i'm to lazy to clean it!

i would just go for the black

The problem with me is i love the broom yellow fiats and feel the skoda yellow is a poor weaker version of this (get them both together and youll see) the black is a stealthy car and looks great clean but as said unless you want to wash it every day it looks dirty very quickly. The red is a bit in your face, it says i'm a bit of a boy racer at heart,

I went for red but it was only because my local dealer had a red and black next to each other, both washed at the same time, red looked spotless, black looked filthy.

i have a common colour for a Furby. - Black

I agree with the guy who said the yellow of the punto is so much better. I said it in an earlier post and I still stick to it.

I have the silver and it's wicked, no dirt shows up and I don't have to wash it very often which suits me, black does seem a little boring and red is just awesome.

I will say though, with the VRS the silver does not stand out at all, (I don't have enough money for a VRS) as the silver is mainly seen on the lower spec fabias.
