It's funny seeing you guys put forward for your colour suggestions.

I just want to ask one question though, has any one considered the plastic film you can get to protect the front of your car from stone chips?

If you have the latest EVO it's in the back of there usually with a Lambo as part of the ad.

If not, what do you suggest for protecting from stone chips? I'll be doing approx 20k a year so it's pretty inevitable that it'll get chipped

please dont go red, unless you are going to keep it clean and polished and do something about the inevitble bonnet fade. or if your going to sell it in a years time

Mine's coming up to 2 years old and there's no fade on the bonnet?

I did 26k miles in the last year, including motorways, and haven't got any stone chips to show for it..... mine is Magic Black and I don't hang about ;)

Black - not got stone chips BUT the back of the car gets absolutely filthy as soon as you drive through any form of rain/muddy road or near anything which might cause it to look dirty. I swear it jumps up from the road as soon as the dirt sees the back of the Furby

If anyone has any ideas on how to prevent this problem a little than that would be very useful to know.

Also, is the problem worse on the vRS version, what's the feeling of those with say the other hatchback versions of the Furby?

I know mudflaps would make a little difference but not enough to make me want to put them on at this point :)

The back of mine does gets dirty pretty quickly, but I've found if you leave the whole car dirty it doesn't stand out as much ;)

God I thought only my car was a mucky bi@tch. The silver's **** after just 1 week is hideously black, I do a lot of A/B road driving with the occassionaly motorway run and after 1 week it MUST be cleaned, obviously down to the brick like aerodynamics :o.

To make it worse, several people have now commented on dirty it is and believe it's the diesel smog that's making it this colour

It's not just the black magic owners which have it tough you know! :finger:

I wish I had bought mine in RED now because it really does look the bee's b@ll@cks when shiny.

no no noooooo the vrs red is bloomin awful! sorry guys lol

I think it depends what you want, if you want a 'sleepy style racer' silver or black

If you want a head turner, red or yellow

If you want a head turner and then they have a little smile to themselves making them remember the car and actually look to see what it is and think too themselfs 'hey, thats a nice car, oh its a fabia, i'll look into them see what there like, thoes skoda's are quiet good now' then go yellow

:D lol

RIGHT - IDEEA TIME!

We need to arrange a meet for one of each colour, meet somewhere, wash them all, then take pics and have a massive debate on which looks better :D
