This is a replacement OEM short Antenna that will fit cars with a 5mm thread diameter mast. The length is 20cm / 7.9inches. This part was made by VW China, and comes sealed in it's own bag, complete with factory labels. Originally meant for the VW Polo : 6RD 035 849. This is not a knock-off. Shanghai Volkswagen produces a lot of cars for the domestic market.

I have personally used it on my own Skoda Octavia mk2, and found no lost of radio signal, especially compared to other shorter stubby ones on the markets. Those DO NOT work as well.

I have one of these and they fit the mk1 octavia just need to cut it down a bit on the end to give the screw enough threads to fit the octavia base
