Fitting Whiteline RARB

Featured Replies

Quick question, can the RARB be changed with the rear of the car up on drive on ramps ?

I know the front requires a two post lift and the wheels off, but can the rear be done with the wheels on and the rear reversed up on a set of ramps ?

Also which is the best setting if I am retaining the stock front one, I have std shocks but Eibach ProLine springs (which has tucked the wheels nicely up in the arches with just a small gap, perfect in my eyes).

Thanks.

Paul

I believe it can, but wheels off and axle stands would give you more room to work.

Most people go for the middle setting.

It should be changed with the car under load, so dont raise it up on a jack etc, get it up on a set of ramps and that will give you some room.

Thanks folks. So looks like I could do the swap at home on my drive on ramps.

.... Or do it in the air, but only do the bolts finger tight until it is back on the ground and then tighten everything up.

Agreed though, the bolts should only be tightened with the suspension under load.

let me know how you get on with the bushes, mines squeek like mad unless I lube them 2-3 times a year.

I'd best order one then.

yes easy enough to fit on the drive, i got some decent moly grease after the grease that came with it was useless and squeaked terribly.
