Does anyone know exactly which existing VW oil specifications the new 504 & 507 specs replace? And, equally importantly, which ones they don't replace?

All I have managed to find so far after extensive Googling is:

"The new specifications supercede all existing VW long life specifications like VW 503.00, 506.00 and 506.01"

So, is it just the Longlife spec oil that these replace?

What about the 502.00, 503.01 or 505.00 grades?
