Octavia TDI MPG VS RANGE - Fuel Economy?

Featured Replies

Hi;

So far it has had nothing done since I bought it. The dealer said it had been serviced at the set intervals and had been done last August. I will get it fully checked and serviced by my own garage soon and will ask them about checking all the sensors mentioned above. Do those things need doing by a Skoda dealer? or can any garage do them. I always have checked brim to brim, even tho' the Golf almost always did 62 - 63mpg except in sub zero conditions. I have only filled the Skoda up twice which is where I get my figure from, but the gauge is going down at the same rate it was week before last so my hopes it might burn clean and perform better now I am doing a long run every day have not been realised so far.

Any decent garage with access to VCDS to fault scan and reset should be able to do any work on these cars,

as they around long enough to be known to just about everyone.
