So is my plasma though ;)

would look better on a frameless TV though ;)

may not be able to do that but has better playability, more realistic, better graphics and more fun. imo that is

oh, and it looks really good on my 42" plasma :P

The question that needs to be asked here is why would you want acres of space between the pictures? I find a nice big screen and external view is plenty good enough and gt4 does that just fine :)

Bengie I believe Ive said it before that mines bigger (and probably cheaper)than yours  and yes GT4 does look better on the big screen :)

how big is yours??

i bought mine before the cack cheapy 1k plasma's appeared every where. i found that the 60" or so plasma's where nearly double the price so not worth it for me and totally agree on the bigger the better, tbh i kinda wish i'd got a projector though

The way forward is to purchase a DLP projector and a bit of white sheet. GT4 never felt as real.

Anyway, who's got 3 big tellys, and who can be rs'd to link 'em all up for a go on the console?????

Having owned both, I have to say that GT4 is so much more realistic in it's driving controls and in some instances does look better. Forza looks great and has semi-realistic accident damage and also better pick up and playability. I like them both as they are both great games, but if I was forced to choose one or the other, it would be GT4.

I have also had both games. I prefer Forza. I found GT4 to be the same as GT3 and GT2 and for that matter GT. Why do i want to sit through all those license tests again. Mostly the same as the old games. Whoop de do the graphics are better then last time and there's 800 cars i can't be bothered to buy. Dull Dull Dull. GT3 still remains the only game I have played that I actually fell asleep playing half way through a race. (in the middle of the day)

but forza is rubbish, the cars don't handle right and the graphics are pants really, not much better whilst driving than PGR2 really.

but...forza is just a cheap, inferior copy of gt4  the graphics, sound, gameplay, presentation and car selection are all outclassed by those of gt4. only the playlist and online features are better in forza and they're just xbox features rather than anything specific to forza

You may say its a cheap copy of it. I think that it's more fun from the get go. I like the fact that you can start racnig some decent cars near enough straight away. GT4 gives you ten hours of license tests ( drive in a straight line then stop repeat till you fall asleep) then you get to race round in a 2cv for another 20 hours before the game gets good. Can't be bothered with all that nonsense. Before everyone gets on my case about the tests etc.. I am of course exagerating, but it does feel like it.

I know the handling is not so great in Forza, it's just more fun, and the A.I drivers arent on a train track like they are on GT4. If you dont believe me then sit on the race line and wait. Garaunteed you will get hit up the backside by the first car to come round.

There's nowt wrong with PGR2 either. I know it tries to be different with it's Kudos system, but the racing online in it is unmatched by anything else imo.

GT4 has it's fans and Forza has it's fans, which is good because we wouldnt all want to be the same. It's good too that people have a chance to express their views and debate the pro's and con's of each game in a civilised way, and a bit of banter every now and again is always welcome. :D

Looking forward to Vision GT myself, oh and the PS3 ;)

golly that looks good :D

GT4 does have an arcade mode remember not just gran turesmo mode ;)

I can see the pick-up and play appeal of forza...flooring my 200sx with a fully modded skyline engine and t/c switched off is a great laugh :D

On the other hand, GT4 (the whole series really) seems to have a bit more depth, and I actually feel drawn to try for better times in the license tests etc...

forza is the best racer on xbox platform.

since xbox is the most powerful console out there right now, that is enough.

xbox live is another class of its own.. no other racer can come close to forza live.

and thats what matters most.

and remember, that is forza 1, not 4..

I think that in forza 2 on next xbox, all minor details will be sorted out and be a terrific racing experience.

for any forza live racers, my gametag is "PetRaN"

I race A class mainly and I am rarerly beaten :D

forza may look a little bit better in places than GT4 but its on a much more powerfull console, imagine if GT4 was on xbox it would kick the **** of Forza on all fronts!

But let me get this straight - Forza can do the multiscreen thing but you need 3 X-Boxes, 3 TV's and 3 copies of the game plus some network cables!

Sounds like a lot of dosh for little reward :(
