Boot liner- any MKII estate one do for a scout ?

Featured Replies

I'm after one of the boot liners. Bought one on ebay for my previous Subaru and it was a great fit, plastic with anti slip rubber in the middle section and a lip right up to the edge all the way round..

My question is the boot liners on ebay don't seem to mention the models of Octy very clearly. Will any mkII estate boot liner do for my 2013 mk II Scout? Any differences in fit?

Also I'd like to still use the nets so does anyone know of a boot liner with cut outs for he mounting loops?

+1. I use the Skoda rubber mat, and it fits a treat, and I can still use the Skoda Dog Guard and boot nets on my Scout with it fitted.

Thanks for those answers that's helpful!

IIRC someone on here said that the liner was actually the same for both estate and hatch - ie the shape of the boot floor is identical so they are interchangable.

There are two shapes of genuine OEM rubber boot liners, both with different part numbers, one for the hatch and one for the estate.

Although one will fit the other and vice versa the fit isn't 100% perfect.

I bought an estate first with the boot liner then bought a hatch. Before deciding which boot liner to buy for the hatch I tried the estate boot liner and it fit but not quite as I wanted it to (it didn't extend far enough into the cubby hole on the right nor did it curve enough for a neat finish below the boot lock mechanism) so I bought the one for the hatch and it fit much better.

Part numbers...

Hatch: DCD610001

Estate: DCD620001

OEM boot liners in Octy and Subaru here :sun:

It sounds like paddypaws is describing the boot liners made by Aristar. Thin durable plastic with a square anti-slip surface in the middle.

I just bought one the other day, it fits perfectly. Better than in my Volvos because the boot floor is lower than the loading lip. In cars where the floor is level with the load lip the raised edge gets in the way.

I have a genuine one that I would sell. Pm me if you want it

Thanks Taxi _G had ordered an ebay one before I saw your post though!

Thanks for the answers everyone!

I've got the carpet mat and the rubber mat in my scout. The rubber has enough edges to contain probably a couple of litres of slop. If you are messier than that, you might have bigger problems.
