LOL at that link. i remember getting my mum with it years back.

13 days to go... my arse is going to be toned until its rock solid from being clenched so much.

The vans do not enforce the speed limit in a specific direction, they move freely between them and given their long range they can have plenty of time to do so.

ACPO guidelines are still 10%+2 but they are only guidelines and technically they can convict at any speed over the limit but they don't normally aside from apparently some issuing speed awareness courses (but never seen proof of it):

I have heard from one local County councillor of locally being dropped to 10%+1 .I should thingk that course taker is in for a rocky ride and this bloke is shrewd enough to start asking about other matters , as he was on police committee for a good few years. He's also very anti camera especially on visibility grounds . From what I've seen & heard ,working at a distance has had a bad press. They're now working on the short range ,but camoflaged technique. Highly visible in ACPO terms, but not till they can see you . I've heard/seen sevral instances of this. My best exaple was one Dumfries & Galloway van , perched on a bridge on M74 , but not visible due to curvature of gentle bend . Traffic-

I'd passed one car five minutes before and couldn't see any in front. Weather , about 20c, bone dry , sun high in sky . Ideal road /situation for making money. But for enforcing road safety ????Possibly if they were enforcing way above the limit ,but hat way don't get bums on seats .it's not safety ,but a money making busioness .

OP, I believe that you have 14 days not counting the day of ping to recieve a noip. That's only if you are RK and all data at DVLC is correct. After that, nip is out of time and it's Peppipoo time .BUT BE CAREFULL. Certain "expert witnesses" trawl/troll Peppipoo andsuch sites to look for evidence and DISCETION of data is to be advised .

Either that system is a load of carp or someone has cloned my plate and is driving around Middlesbrough, because I've got at ticket somewhere I've NEVER been, let alone last Sunday, when I was at work, in Kent.

That's what everybody says.

Hope you can prove satisfactory documentary evidence of you and your cars whereabouts when the papers land on your doormat.

in the meantime, why not check out the photographs of the incident to see if you recognise the driver.

Well I'll be buggered... It's me.

Doh!
