In my earlier thread rearding my poor dealer experience (http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/275425-poor-dealer-experience/) i mentioned that the car was covered in glue - this is what the glue spots looked like....

After a good few hours with Autoglym tar remover, Meguiars Ultimate Compound and NXT 2 Polish applied with a DA machine, the car looks a tad cleaner!

Nice. Black looks good when polished.

Ta! It does doesn't it - shame it doesn't stay that way for long!

I like that I need to do mine now, still got small lines of glue on the wings!

The Autoglym tar remover fetched the glue off without too much fuss, it's a shame the dealers can't manage to get it off!

I guess the saving grace is that by giving it a quick jet wash instead of a spotty 16 year rubbing furiously at the glue with a grit laden sponge that the paintwork is swirl free!
