BMW 320 d AMD

Featured Replies

on A31 yesterday and was followed by a nice beemer diesel. Was pretty rapid, though really smokey... :thumbdwn: I think it had been remapped as it had an AMD sticker on it... What sort of BHP would that be?

My car has just ticked over 1500 miles, and he was noticeabl quicker at higher speeds and he had a full car! Should I have kept up?

Starts off with 150bhp (160'ish true) so with AMD its got to be 190+ and 320lb/ft+

Don't worry Sonic. Once you get that remap done, you'll eat that beemer for breakfast...and it won't be full too.

I reckon a fair few remapped cars are about there these days - I'd imagine it is a little hard to accept getting a beating by a lowly Furby ;)

Golf GTI with some tuner logo in it today seemed pretty quick. It was a pretty old one, but it was fairly fast when he gave it some welly.

Neither of us were racing as it was too nice and we both had females in the car who didnt like to go faster (well, SWMBO + sister didnt).

:D

The AmD 3.0 diesel BMW's were awesome, Seen an X5 wheelspin off from AmD when the customer come to pick it up, not easy in a bleedin great 4x4..lol

:D :D :D

i want all 4 wheels spinning in the dry, i wonder how much power i'd need :rubchin:

Keep tuning Bengie - you'll find out :D :D :D

what i am aiming for in my mind is a slightly bigger version of DaveU's but mapped more agressively and with the power coming in at lower rpm's due to better traction :D

gotta save a few pennies first though :(

I know that feeling m8 - I'm hoping for FMIC, Milltek and then get the hybrid turbo + remap done.

Gonna be some time that though - nice to dream in my case, but I reckon little sprogs may be on the agenda by then so unlikely to happen :(
