Holy double-thread necromancy batman!

That's eight and a half years worth of threads back from the dead in only two posts nealey, a new record I believe. Have a lie down, you must be exhausted.

:giggle:

Give him a break Sep, I would be trying to find old threads and post on there before starting my own.

What's a guy to do .... Find a relevant thread to post a question and gets rinsed for brining back an old thread, or start a new thread and get shot down for not using the search function :wonder:

...or get shot down for not reading the writing on the hose in the five year old photo where it clearly says 3/4"  :D

Surely you should be telling him what a bodge this is doing this and dropping oil on the road?

Especially being a leather clad power ranger

I'll give you that, although I couldn't see the size on the pipe on my phone. The mobile version of the site won't allow you to zoom. Just saying :)

19mm or 3/4"

Cheers. Meant to ask, what size is the end, is it the same ? thanks..

To be fair I assumed he was making a catch-can arrangement like the thread said, spilt diesel from overfilled tanks is the main hazard for us clever lad flower arrangers, it's much better now than it used to be because HGV's don't spill fuel out of the tank cap any more.

You need 19mm or 3/4" hose (a washing machine waste pipe fitted mine perfectly putting the rubber end of it onto the PCV) and a 19mm or 3/4" internal diameter bung for the hole left in the inlet.

If using a catch can as is advised, you don't need the bung as the return from the catch can will go back to the inlet.

cheers for info mate.

Just done this. 22mm chair leg rubber, 19mm rubber heater hose, already got a jubilee clip, cost: £5. Not driven it yet so we'll see. I may well for a catch can soon if I can find room for it.
