What type of Bluetooth device to fit to my Fabia Elegance?

Featured Replies

Hi

I've ordered a new Fabia Estate Elegance 1.6 TDI 105 CR with parking sensors, 4 x mud flaps, 4 x door sill protectors and a spare wheel but not sure if it will be a full steel 16" or a spacer saver due to room in boot eg width and height?

My question is: what bit of kit do I fit for the Bluetooth e.g the 'In-phase BT Mate Bloothooth' which uses the car radio audio auxiliary input socket postioned to the rear of the handbrake to replay the incoming phone speech and is not connected to the rear of the radio loom

or

Parrot or 'Mr Handsfree Blue Compact' which require the addition of a electronic black box behind the radio with the associated wiring and head unit stuck to the dashboard.

Has any member fitted one of the above and what are the results?

Thanks

I had a choice of Parrot or fitting the factory version myself. No microphones dangling down, no controllers strapped to the dash or steering wheel and works fine. Worked out slightly cheaper - and only took about an hour to fit.
