This has got me excited! The monte I test drove had a different steering wheel, I much prefer the one on yours. Do you know any reason? Maybe the tech has a different one or something! That looks so much nicer. Can't wait for mine!

Also got a few quotes on insurance today, amazingly cheap! Managed to knock £180 off by moving from Admiral too. Just waiting for my reg to take out the policy! 50-60mpg, £20 tax and cheap insurance. I'm happy!

ll new fabia's have the new wheel and badge's. Can,t get ins yet as reg is not on system and i pickup friday so had to go for 7 days free ins with exsess of £700 rubbish

I think you can insure with the VIN number until a registration is assigned/confirmed....?

I have only renewed on 5 may for my vrs so have to get quote of my present insurer came up with high risk cannot insure broker said because reg not on the system

Going to ring the dealer tomorrow as I've got a form to sign and fax back for the tax so hopefully find out when I can have it.

It doesn't have the MFSW, just the new design wheel with the chrome bits on and new black Skoda badge

I can't see the pics...I quite like the wheel on my Monte - all chunky and perforated leather with red stitching.

Now to get to a computer that will open the images to see how they could top that!

Picked up mine this afternoon! Love it!!! & it's got maxi dot. Original delivery date was 26th April so be prepared to wait ????.

Mine's waiting to be transported to the dealers from the dock.

Going away for 4 days on Monday so just sorted all the paperwork out with the dealer today and got the 7 day free insurance to start from next Friday so fingers crossed I'll get it then.

Can't come quick enough, first Skoda as well so it better be worth the wait!

Looks nice mate. Maxidot and satnav are a nice upgrade. Shame Skoda didn't think to fit climate control to the tech model tho! That really lifts the interior look

on 205/40/17's they tramline alot and follow the camber of the road (pull left mostly) if you find an off camber road they wont... its quite normal.....

The insurance co. I work for will insure on a Vin number. Pretty standard practice to get new cars insured and taxed.

Apart from the pulling to one side, what's it like to drive, only had a test drive of a 1.2 TSI SE so never driven the Monte TSI?

very nice drive not as firm ride as the vrs but the mpg i am gettting is a lot better 38mpg around town and 44 mpg on the mway only done 130 miles so hopeing to get more when run in full tank 420 miles

Excellent, what's the correct run in period, what revs etc, thought you didn't need to do this now?

Hopefully have mine next Friday if all goes well. Got a weekend away planned to Whitby the following week so it will get a good run out then, down the A19 then over the moors on the A171.
