Just so no one gets confused that's not the convenience ECU it's the central electrics ECU

And the genuine kit from Skoda with full instructions is around £60. The guide above I wrote with Stuart and BigK iirc is some 10 years old now and the need for repair wires etc is no longer required.

The instructions came with it but i couldnt make sense of them haha. I used the diagrams more than the pictures. I used the guide all the way up until i got stuck at the very begining if this thread. Very good until the last bit. Thanks for the guide.
