Thanks for posting the info, I'll have to do more research as the software is all Windows based - and we use Mac. Or get the dealer to do it!

17Gb of download, nightmare!!!

Good reason to stay with the Amundsen sat nav - only 5Gb

Either that or invest in Fibre BB!

Not too bad once or twice a year.

Still think the dealer should be able to help, though.

Downloaded the file. Maps are from 4/7/12, not sure how to check the maps on the hard disk as yet, but I know they are missing roads over a year old.

Not sure about trying an update yet

If you click on the version tab in the NAV setup sub menu it brings up the following info on my Amundsen.

Version information

SE0919866 0018 2012/2013

which seems quite up to date to me

Not sure how to check whether the version I downloaded is more or less up to date that what is already on the card

Question anybody tried this on a mrk2 amundsen+ As maps in my blackline are out of date.

This topic has been ongoing for some time all the blackline amundson+ have old maps, i have contacted Skoda and all relevent sources, i am assured we have the latest mapsource allegedly that is untill skoda supply there dealers with a more up to date mapsource, from memory Sept 2012 wa the last information and that was the maps on my 2012 blackline but these maps were allready way out of date. A garmin i purchased in Aug 2012 for my wifes car was bang up to date.
