vr6 parts fitted to mk1 octavia vrs

£150ono

Hi pal, could you explain what's involved with this conversion (any extra parts need to fit) and what it felt like to use?

hi mate, its a decent conversion, generally it gives a nice light feel to you clutch, and replaces the expensive DMF setup. You can also further lighten the flywheel if you choose, helping free revving and making the car more responsive.

Included is the flywheel, pressure plate, friction plate and release bearing with bolt so everyting you need. Its a decent clutch too, a sachs one.

Will sort some pics for you this week when i get the chance!

Cheers pal, sounds promising. How many hours labour would you say to fit (3-4)?

no probs buddy, you doing yourself? just depends on your competence level, if you have changed a clutch before, you should have no issue with this.

I did one on a pug 206 before and my car is garaged through the week (weekend toy) so i could try, but I'm 50/50 depends how I feel on the day. Mainly though with something like this I might take it to my mates garage so if it fails I have someone to blame if you know what I mean!!
